How does the original Power V Grip or the new Power V Grip II help my two-handed backhand? Well, you don't need any more leverage and you don't need any more traction but just like any other grip the placement of your bottom hand is so important. It determines the racquet head angle and provides a frame of reference for placing the upper hand. With one of our Power V Grips the bottom hand is going to lock in exactly where you want it each and every time. Now you have a frame of reference for placing the top hand exactly where you want it. As Mike mentioned in his testimonial, he attached the NPVG II the full length without cutting it. The asymmetrical ridge is also a big help in placing the top hand. It should be noted that many players with two-handed backhands use the original PVG and the different diameters of the handle is not a problem for them. It is just a matter of individual preference. Great Testimonial from Michael, FL Apparently he attached the
new
Power V Grip II without cutting it and it worked very well for him and his two-handed backhand. Thanks Mike.
First time out with it yesterday and I LOVED it. It is so much easier to switch grips than with the original, and I still got the advantage of the increased leverage and ease in finding the continental and SW. Also I have a 2HBH and left it uncut - I like this a lot better since my left and right hands are not grabbing parts of the handle that are different diameters. Thanks very much!
